We are also excited about the addition of Miller, and we have another contract out on an infielder who I believe will be a front line 3rd basemen in our league, but he can also play shortstop or 2nd base in a pinch.

As for our closer's role, I think it is a definite possibility that Locke could be closing games this year. You typically don't see a lot of left-handed closers, but Locke has the stuff to do it as this level. Adding Ted Gjeldum to the bullpen would free up Locke to be the closer, but Zac Cole, Rory James, amongst a couple others will also be in the mix. It will depend on what we see out of them in training camp.Jason Wuerfelhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/18342537183771866511noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2440088685046717153.post-87059718359429193272008-04-16T16:04:00.000-07:002008-04-16T16:04:00.000-07:00Wow it sounds as if youve got some arms on the sta...Wow it sounds as if youve got some arms on the staff this year. I also like the competition factor you have on the pitching staff. I have heard some things about Brad Miller and it sounds as if he will fit in nicely with that squad. Also a side question Jason. Is it possible Locke could be closing this season? Keep up the great work and thanks again for keeping us updated during your busy time.Markhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04348207946744259420noreply@blogger.com
